The CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) ETH in Climate Innovation is a five-month executive programme designed to equip professionals with the necessary competencies to lead the climate transition toward net-zero emissions, thus accelerating the transformation toward a resilient carbon-neutral society.
As a student assistant you will support the climate innovation programme within two areas: 1) communication: by refreshing the official ETH landing website, 2) event management: by managing events, such as lunches, site visits, and social gatherings related to the delivery of the programme in spring semester 2027.
Overall, this dual role will offer you insights in how we communicate a continuing education programme offered at a university, as well as on how to manage the delivery of such a programme.
Fixed-term position for 6 months, with potential extension upon agreement with management team.Start date: by arrangement, as soon as possible.Job description You will support the Climate Innovation programme in the following areas:
- Communication:
- Mainly populate the web content management system with already reworked content.
- Run basic desktop research.
- Conduct simple data analysis and turn them into charts.
- Event management:
- Organise lunches on the days of the programme for a total of 18 days.
- Organise 1 dinner with Alumni.
- Prepare the roadmap to 4-5 excursions.
Profile You are
- A Bachelor's (from the 5th semester) or Master's student at a Swiss university in natural or social science.
- At ease with computer skills, quick adaptation to operating new software, and performing basic analysis in excel
You have
- Some experience with administration / event management
- Excellent soft skills: problem-solving, creativity (new ideas are highly welcome), analytical, reliable and organized.
You communicate confidently in English, written and spoken. Good command in german is welcome.
