The programs include the CAS ETH in Machine Learning in Finance & Insurance as well as a growing portfolio of various continuing education courses on Quantum Computing, Blockchain, Risk & Resilience.
Project background We are looking for a motivated and highly organized Continuing Education Manager to join us immediately or by arrangement for an initial period of 2 years, with the long-term vision of a permanent role. In this multifaceted position, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic development of our education offerings and work with the Executive Director.
Job description As Continuing Education Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the operational management of the continuing education offerings at the ETH FinsureTech Hub
- Administrative support for the CAS ETH in Machine Learning in Finance & Insurance
- Serving as the primary point of contact for participants, speakers, lecturers, and internal ETH departments as well as other relevant stakeholders
- Supporting and helping shape the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies
- Co-designing and implementing new teaching formats, course offerings, and innovative continuing education concepts in a rapidly evolving subject area
Profile - University degree, preferably in education management, communications, marketing or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in organizing and delivering continuing education programs, ideally in an academic or institutional setting
- Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset as well as a hands-on mentality and a genuine passion for developing and independently implementing new ideas and formats
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
- Strong service orientation and enjoyment in engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups
- Enthusiasm for the topics at the Hub as well as interest in current developments at the intersection of technology and financial services is an advantage
