Your tasks: - Nurturing System Integrity: You will act as a guardian of our instrument's quality, ensuring that the interplay between embedded software and hardware is seamless, robust, and reliable for our customers.
- Creative Test Evolution: Instead of just following a script, you will design and develop thoughtful test scenarios that explore the system's resilience, helping us identify and resolve potential weaknesses long before they reach the field.
- Transforming Data into Insight: You will listen to what the instruments are telling us by analyzing logs and results, turning raw data into meaningful improvements that enhance our diagnostic capabilities and long-term supportability.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: You will own the journey of an issue from discovery to resolution, working closely with cross-functional teams to verify that our solutions are as elegant as they are effective.
- Bridge-Building across R&D: You will serve as a key technical partner between different development teams and production, using your deep system knowledge to provide clarity and support during complex troubleshooting phases.
- Empowered Ownership of Quality: You will take pride in delivering validated, high- quality work packages, ensuring a smooth and confident transition of designs to our global partners in Service and Operations.
Your Profile: - A degree (BSc/MSc) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
- Min. 5-7+ years of experience in testing in agile environments, specifically where software meets hardware
- Proficient with Linux and have a strong foundation in test automation. While ISTQB certification is a plus, your ability to think systematically is what matters most
- A curious investigator who enjoys learning how things work under the hood. You communicate with empathy and clarity, ensuring that technical findings lead to collaborative fixes
- Fluency in English is required; German is a great advantage for local collaboration
