About
I am a PhD-trained biochemist with postdoctoral research experience at ETH Zurich in molecular and structural biology, protein science and biophysical analysis. My work has involved recombinant protein expression and purification, chromatography, electrophoresis, isotopic labelling, biochemical and biophysical assays, NMR-centred analysis, troubleshooting and scientific documentation. I have a strong background in generating, interpreting and communicating complex biological data, with peer-reviewed research outputs in protein structure, dynamics and biochemical systems.
In addition to my research background, I bring extensive practical laboratory responsibility from my later role as Science Teacher and Laboratory Manager at International School Zurich North. There, I managed laboratory resources, safety routines, chemical tracking, equipment organisation and practical experiment preparation, while supporting colleagues and students with demanding scientific projects.
My strongest qualities are careful experimental execution, analytical thinking, structured documentation, reliability, and the ability to learn new methods thoroughly. Although my background is mainly in molecular biology and protein biochemistry rather than direct early-pharmacology or immunology platforms, I am motivated to transfer my laboratory discipline, assay-oriented thinking and data interpretation skills into a biotech research environment.
