Communications Specialist m/w/d, Basel-Stadt The External Communications Specialist plays a key supporting role in delivering clear, consistent and high-quality external communications for. The position supports executive-level communications activities and flagship external events, helping to ensure that company's messaging is professional, accurate and aligned across channels. Working closely with the Senior Manager, External Communications and the wider Communications team, the role contributes to the development of engaging content for external audiences, including media materials, website content and social media. In parallel, the role provides hands-on coordination and logistical support for major external events such as the Annual General Meeting and other investor and media-related activities. This one-year maternity cover role is well suited to a highly organized communications professional at an early stage of their career, offering exposure to both strategic communications planning and operational execution. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment when handling sensitive information, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions to support external reputation.
Responsibilities: • Develop clear, engaging content for external audiences including media materials, website updates, and social media posts.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all channels by collaborating closely with internal teams.
• Collaborate with design and digital teams to develop visual and multimedia content for social media, digital channels and events.
• Monitor media coverage and assist with media relations activities.
• Manage sensitive communication with discretion and professionalism.
- Event Management Support:
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing external events such as Annual General Meeting (AGM) and other investor events.
• Oversee event logistics, including venue coordination, vendor management, guest lists, and on-site support.
• Prepare event materials such as briefing notes, presentations, and other supporting content.
• Support post-event reporting, evaluation, and content capture
