We are looking for a PhD candidate to join our group in the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences to work on the design and synthesis of imaging probes to functionalize lipid nanoparticles. Our group has diverse knowledge in various topics including organic synthesis, imaging, and nanotechnology and our strength lies in the synthesis of organic molecules for diverse applications in the field of bio- and nano-technology. For this position, a project on the synthesis of imaging probes, targeting peptides and therapeutic molecules and covalent functionalization of the surface of lipid nanoparticles for various applications is envisioned.
Research Topics within Our Group:
- MRI and NIR probe for in vivo and in vitro imaging of diseases
- Chemical force spectroscopy and nanolithography by chemically functionalized AFM Tip
- Fullerene-based biomaterials
- Supramolecular complexation and self-assembly
You can find out more about our group on our
website.
