We offer a PhD position on "In-situ characterization and Digital Modeling of Li-Ion Batteries" in the Materials and Device Engineering (MaDE) group led by Prof. Vanessa Wood. Our group and research activities are interdisciplinary and collaborative with a very motivated team from various backgrounds with a large knowledge base. We conduct research on Li-Ion batteries ranging from material development, structural analysis with x-ray techniques, to digital modeling and simulation. The group also performs research on optoelectronics that are based on nanoparticles, offering unique opportunities to collaborate and to investigate the use of nanoparticles in Li-Ion batteries.
Project backgroundYou will perform in-depth research on cutting-edge research of Li-Ion battery characterization and modeling.
